Aurobond
Aurobond is a non-absorbable braided and coated synthetic multifilament composed of polyester fibres. Aurobond sutures are coated uniformly with silicone to increase surface lubricity, thereby enhancing handling characteristics.

Product features:
- High tensile strength.
- Good handling property.
- Good knot security.
- Relatives low tissue reactivity.
- It is a pliable, soft suture similar to silk.
General application in medical industry:
- Mucosal tissue surgery.
- Less common in dermatology.
- Ophthalmology.
