DESCRIPTION
Goniogel is an isotonic, clear, colorless, viscoelastic solution. Goniogel contains methyl
cellulose with a high molecular weight of > 80,000 daltons. No preservative added
in this solution
INDICATIONS
Goniogel is used in bonding gonioscopic prisms to the eye. Not indicated for
therapeutic use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
No contraindications known.
WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS
Do not touch the nozzle tip to any surface, since this may contaminate the solution.
Remove contact lenses before using. If the solution dries on optical surfaces let them
stand in cool water before cleansing.
Vision may be temporarily blurred when this product is first used. Use caution while driving, using machinery, or doing any activity that requires clear vision.
Do not use if the solution changes dark color.
DIRECTIONS
Close container air tight immediately after use. Use the solution within one week after opening the container.
CAUTIONS
Local irritation may occur in very rare cases. It may cause mild stinging. However seek
immediate medical attention if notice any symptoms.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Goniogel should be filled in gonioscopic prisms as necessary or as directed by the
physician.
SUPPLY
Goniogel – 10 ml is supplied in colorless opaque low density polyethylene dropper
containers.
STORAGE CONDITION
Store product in original containers with the cap tightly closed at a temperature 2 - 35 C
(35 - 95 F). Protect from freezing. Keep the product away from children and pets.
Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed.
